DESCRIPTION
In system of care work it is essential to engage advocates and policy makers at all levels to encourage collaboration across systems, organizations, and communities. However, underrepresented groups are often excluded from policy decisions, program development, or service delivery. Webinar participants will learn tips and strategies for engaging underrepresented groups in system of care work at both the policy and practice levels. A diverse panel of people with lived experience will discuss successful efforts for centering the voice of underserved communities and community advocate groups in mental health services, programming, and policy decisions.
