Manifesto for Race Equity & Parent Leadership in Early Childhood Systems
A group of 40 parent leaders and agency staff from nine EC-LINC communities, with support from CSSP staff and consultants, came together to create this Manifesto for Race Equity and Parent Leadership in Early Childhood. This Manifesto and its 5 Commitments for Change outlines their vision, goals and strategies for the transformation they want to make so that all parents are supported and empowered to give their children a strong start in life.

Strategic sharing is a great way for young adults to share their stories in a competent and meaningful way that can lead to system change. This can be trickier than it sounds! Use this guide for tips and tricks so the personal stories in your community can be shared in a way that is safe and effective. By working through the documents linked in this tip sheet, young adults will gain the skills and knowledge not only to share their own stories, but to empower others to do the same, as well as learn talking points for what makes these stories so important to system change.
