This research brief is a 2019 point-in-time review of states that are using Medicaid to finance family and/or youth peer support and is intended for use by multiple stakeholders engaged in the design, financing, implementation, and/or expansion of behavioral health services for children and families, including state and local family- and youth-run organizations, state Medicaid and other public child-serving agencies, Medicaid managed care organizations, providers, and other stakeholders.
