PRIDE Month 2022 – Celebrate, Uplift, Embrace.
The NTTAC Team warmly wishes you a happy Pride Month!
This Pride Month, we celebrate the unique strengths and resiliency of LGBTQ+ children, youth and young adults, and families and other caregivers. We want to uplift the importance and value of family acceptance, and emphasize ways to promote this in our work with families. Furthermore, we support all LGBTQ+ children, youth, and young adults in embracing their identity and flourishing in their lives.
This year, we also celebrate a new White House Executive Order (June 15) that focuses on advancing efforts for LGBTQ+ youth and families. We applaud the new directives for “Advancing LGBTQI+ Equality,” including working to end conversion therapy, supporting LGBTQ+ youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, expanding access to gender-affirming care, and addressing LGBTQ+ youth suicide.
Please take a moment to check out the resources below. This Pride month, explore how you can celebrate, uplift, and embrace LGBTQ+ children, youth, and young adults!
