Children’s Mental Health
Awareness Month 2021
Reflect, Reconnect, Renew.
In May, organizations throughout the nation come together in observance of
Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month
2021 THEME: REFLECT, RECONNECT, RENEW
2021 Theme: Reflect, Reconnect, Renew
In 2021, CMHA Day is a special opportunity to reflect on the unique challenges of the past year and the ways that systems could better meet the needs of children, youth and young adults, and families in future years. It is a chance to reconnect children, youth, and families to the community supports and providers that serve them. And it is a time to renew our commitment to ensuring that all young people and their families have access to an equitable system of care.
We invite you to join with us in uplifting and supporting young people and their families. On this page, you’ll find resources and events that you can use to participate in CMHA Day and CMHA Month 2021.
Help Spread the Word
We invite you to incorporate these graphics and logos in social media posts, cover images, website hero image and email marketing to help spread awareness during the month of May.
This event is a three-part virtual roundtable that addresses the impact of historical and present day trauma and social injustice on AAPI mental health, provides self-care strategies, and identifies long term community engagement strategies to address the mental health of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
